Our Story
The Central Coast STEM Expo was founded in 1985 by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) to ignite curiosity and enthusiasm for STEM among local youth. In 1994, the AIAA partnered with the Endeavour Center, which took over most of the administrative responsibilities. While the event has remained modest in scale, currently serving one school district, it has consistently aimed to inspire diverse youth to explore STEM fields and envision themselves pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. By providing an inclusive and supportive environment, the expo seeks to empower students from all backgrounds to realize their potential and contribute to the future of innovation.
